Below is the sign-up poll for TEACHERS for the fourth term. Please check all the classes you are willing and qualified to teach. Please make sure you are signed in as the relevant pup when filling out the poll. Teachers will be assigned to classes on a first come, first served basis, but keeping in mind that I generally try to give everyone that signs up at least one class.

Please note: Anyone signing up to teach a foreign language is signing up for THREE classes: a beginning class, an intermediate class, and an advanced class.

[Poll #1332066]

ETA: There's a second poll, with a few more classes I accidentally left out, here. Please check and see if you'd want to teach any of those as well. Sorry and thanks!

Phoenix and Mia planned to teach a Law class each (Law History and Introduction to Law Practice) which would probably go under Social Studies, if you can fit them on the curriculum? I emailed a while back asking about it. :D

I should note that while William is qualified to teach the journalism subjects, by 'willing' he means that he doesn't think lesser qualified people than him should be taking classes, so he'll do it. He still feels you can't teach journalism. Class will involve him telling people to go find news and then critiquing the results.

I see that Zai's already got Liebgott signed up for baking -- If she's willing, Shari would love sharing a class with him, since she already knows him and all.

If Webster gets his way, Lieb will hopefully be teaching German, too.

Del still wants to teach baking/cooking but isn't opposed to sharing the class due to her whole 'I'm as big as a whale' pregnancy thing.

Would "Social Problems" include Anger Management by any chance?

Anger management would fall under psychology. Social problems here would be issues that apply to a whole group of people (Things like classism, poverty, etc, etc.)

I didn't expect to have so many classes to choose from! XD If I had to pick just one for Daniel (which I obviously didn't *shifty eyes*) it'd probably be General Physics. Just so you know~

Ben is qualified to teach like everything. *facepalm*

But philosophy could be for the lulz considering his canon (which is full of characters whose names are in reference to other philosophers). If anything, though, I'd put him in the Logic course. He is a most excellent debater.

He also reads A LOT (a lot a lot), so he'd also be pretty good at any literature courses.

FYI, I chose several classes for Nate, but Social Problems and Ethics are the two he'd most prefer (in that order.)

I see that no one has signed up for Social Psychology; Nate would be happy to teach that one, as well.

Frank's a literature professor (pre-eminent Proust scholar in the USA! Woohoo!) and would love to be able to teach something. He specialises in French literature (so can teach French language as well) but is equally able to teach critical reading/intro to lit studies/american lit etc.

Joey would LOVE to be able to continue his acting classes! I forgot to click Communication Arts: Introduction to Radio, TV & Film and while Joey could teach this, it would be from an actors perspective. Which is why I nominate STEPHEN COLBERT for the job (as well as Radio Broadcasting), to spread his pearls of wisdom, and then maybe Joey can take one class out of the series XD

I put Calvin in for any classes I think he'd feel qualified to teach and would be glad to if no one else stepped in for them. Mostly any of the basic science classes, plus pretty much anything related to marine biology or oceanography, which is his specialty. But if there's a lack of teachers in things like reading or the like, he'd probably mention to Remus he'd be willing to teach whatever he needed to. He's malleable.

Vanessa Bell would be very interested in giving Painting and Drawing courses, if there's place.

Also, as a note/reminder; the gallery annex workshop is open to any classes regarding art. It's open to anyone, but you get the point. :)

Harriet used to be Prime Minister and is very knowledgeable about history so I put her in for both politics and earth history. She'd be happy to teach either.

Moril marked off all the music ones except appreciation...obviously he doesn't have to do all of them; we'll totally share. But he can also fill in any gaps or mix up students or, you know, whatever. It's the one thing he's good at. ;)

I signed both Ianto and Bridge up for several classes, the idea being that they're qualified and willing to help with whatever they signed up for. If there's need, schedule them, if there's not, they're cool.

I put Summer down for a few, but keep in mind she was just a Freshman in college herself so take her qualifications as you will. Environmental Studies would have been her major, if she'd declared a major.

Josh is, um, new to this? He's also a cocky ass, so he should probably be put with someone who actually DOES know what they're talking about and won't just talk over people's heads arrogantly.

He means well?

i clicked five languages for phedre, and she is willing to teach any combination of them. alcuin can probably handle french on his own. she doesn't know advanced hebrew, but could do beginning and intermediate just fine. and she's agreed to help nick with ASL as his sort of teaching assistant, which she can do no matter what else she's teaching. :) :)

From: [identity profile] loveasthouwilt.livejournal.com
hehe yeah, she met nick and was like "must learn this language", so has been reading everything she can lay hands on about it, and practicing w/him whenever she can. but mostly she's just going to sit at the head of his class and answer questions so he doesn't have to write down the answers to everything everyone asks him, lol.
