Island School: FIRST TERM

Based on the results of the poll a while back, below is the list of classes that will be offered for the first term of the Island School, along with the people that had signed up to teach those classes. Some classes have more than one person available to teach, so once we know how many students are signed up we can figure out whether we need all the teachers for a particular subject. There's also the option of having one class for adults and one class for children.

TEACHERS: If you signed up to teach, are willing/able to teach one of the subjects below, and your name is not listed, let me know and I will add it. Conversely, if you see your pup's name below and they are no longer willing/able to teach, let me know and I will remove it. Also, I know I'm out of the loop as far as who's been dropped recently due to being on hiatus, so let me know if I have someone listed that's no longer on the island.

STUDENTS: Comment here with the classes you will be signing up for. I'll also have a signup post in-game, probably tomorrow, if any student pups want to "register" in-game or talk to Remus about the school.

I'd like to have the first term be March-July. Let me know if there are any questions!

If it's at all needed (and it looks like it isn't), Klaus can teach Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Literature, History, French and English. Since he's the "Deputy Headmaster" (AHAHAHA), I suppose I'll just assume he's a subtitute, along with helping with the everyday operation of the school?

He wants to take the Doctor's history class. Possibly just to see if he knows more about it than himself.

I was thinking that also, re the substitute thing. Plus I'm figuring Remus can bow out of any classes that have a surplus of teachers and just act as substitute as well if needed. I want the other teacher pups that signed up to have first dibs on actually teaching.

Klaus in the Doctor's Earth History class ought to be amusing. I think that class needs to be played out in-game at least once. :))

I haven't signed Christopher Robin up yet because I'm not sure what the "grade level" of some of these is going to be! He's a bright boy, but he's eight. He would of course like to take Reading and Maths, and perhaps history or writing or whatever he ought to learn as well.

There isn't really a 'grade level' set for anything, because of the wide age range of the students. The classes are going to be small, so the teachers should be able to accomodate everyone's skill level.

Carrot wants to learn French and Earth History! Also, if needed, he's pretty handy when it comes to any and all kinds of weaponry.

Basically, in his canon he can pick up anything and be good with it so if you ever need a substitute teacher...
