First Term Class Rosters

Below are the class rosters for the first term of the Island School. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I will be posting the class schedule next.

I may just be paranoid, but the format above in case it's not clear is:

Klaus Baudelaire is the school's substitute teacher should the need arise. If he is not available, Remus is the backup substitute.

First Term Class Schedule

Here is the class schedule for the school's first term. The only classes I did not schedule are Music, English, & French since those are the smallest classes; I will leave it up to the muns of those subjects' teachers to decide when to hold their classes.

TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY

THURSDAY
8:00-10:00 Reading
10:30-12:30 Writing

Please note that all classes for the same subject are taught at the same time. For example, both Remus and Toby's literature classes are Mondays & Wednesdays, 10:30-12:30. The school has two classrooms, and there shouldn't be more than two indoor classes being held at one time, so this shouldn't be a problem.

A Few Things You Should Know

Receiving your class schedule.
All students received their class schedules today. Remus went around himself and handed them out, because he wanted to personally thank each student for being a part of the school (also to meet the ones he'd not met yet). You can assume Remus found you at some point today to give you your class schedule. If any students want to play this out in-game for whatever reason, I'm happy to do so - e-mail me at dsneyvoice at gmail dot com and I will tag Remus into the pup's EP.

School-Related In Game Action
Obviously, it's not feasible for every single class to be threaded in-game. It's completely up to the muns of the pups involved, teacher pups especially, to plan & execute any classtime threads they want to play out. I definitely encourage us all to do some sort of school-related thread every once in a while, even if it's private and then linked in the main comm. I would also like to have staff meetings for the teachers, maybe once or twice a month - any input on that is appreciated.

The Weaponry Class
Just a note on the weaponry class - it is ONE class, made up of several different types of 'weaponry', each taught by a different teacher. I'm leaving it up to the muns of the teacher pups (which would include me, heh, since Bill is one of them) to decide how the class will be structured. My thought is to divide the class into 2 or 3 groups and rotate them through the different teachers, so there is more than one style being taught at once. Or maybe there's a better way to do it. What do you guys think?
